Cats Are Cats…

AND EVEN THOUGH OUR KITTIES ARE GENERALLY GOOD NATURED, THEY MAY BE UNPREDICTABLE FROM TIME TO TIME. TO MAKE YOUR VISIT AS SAFE AND ENJOYABLE AS POSSIBLE, WE REQUEST THAT YOU FOLLOW A FEW “CAT RULES”.

THE CAT LOUNGE RULES

  • Please make sure one door is closed before you open another to make sure no cats sneak out.

  • Cats do not enjoy loud noises or unpredictable behavior. Please interact with the cats in a calm and quiet manner. No running, screaming, or chasing the cats.

  • Please do not disturb the cats while they are eating or drinking.

  • Please do not disturb a sleeping cat. You may gently pet them but they occasionally need a break too.

  • Please do not pick up the cats. It is best to sit on the floor and let them climb on your lap.

  • Please sanitize your hands on the way in. In addition, a hand-washing sink is available for your convenience.

  • Only food and drink from our café are allowed in the cat lounge.  Do not feed the cats any human food or drink. All drinks must have a lid and baked goods should be in a closed container when not being eaten.

  • Feel free to take pictures, but no flash please.

  • Children must be at least 8 years of age to enter the cat lounge. Children under 13 (8-12 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult IN THE CAT LOUNGE. A signed waiver is required for everyone entering the cat lounge. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. There may not be more than 3 children per adult 18 or over.

  • To ensure the safety of our residents as well as our human guests, we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the lounge at any time if the “Cat Rules” are not being followed, without expectation of a refund.

Lazy Cat Lounge & Cafe has a zero tolerance policy for any individual who is causing distress to the animals. It’s a rare occasion for us to have to ask someone to leave. We’d like to keep it that way.
